For many of our students, social justice leadership is a new concept. What has been helpful in my classes is to spend some time providing a background (context) about social justice in education. Does anyone have any ideas, readings that have been successful? One article I'm currently using is "Understanding Education for Social Justice" by Hytten & Bettez. Please share other ideas.

We encourage CAPEA members and interested educators to post best practices in providing their candidates with training and information pertaining to this credential. For example, how they are providing mentoring/coaching for their candidates, how they are managing district partnerships, and any concerns, questions, or insights that they have encountered.
